Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Your name, email address, and phone number when you request an appointment or submit a form
• Answers to intake questions you choose to provide when booking a consultation — for example your goals, your general financial situation, and what you are trying to solve
• The content of messages you send us by text, email, or social media direct message

Information collected automatically

• Standard web and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on page, and referring source
• Whether you opened or clicked a message we sent you

Information from third parties

• If you comment a keyword on one of our Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok posts, those platforms provide us your public profile name and the fact that you commented, so that we can reply to you

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this website. If you later apply for insurance coverage, that application is handled directly through the insurance carrier's own process and their privacy practices apply to it.

How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and continue a conversation you started
• To schedule, confirm, and remind you about consultations
• To follow up with you about a consultation or a request you made
• To understand which content and pages are working, in aggregate
• To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance professional

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messaging

If you text a keyword to our number, submit a form with the SMS consent box checked, or otherwise give us your mobile number and permission to text it, you are consenting to receive text messages from us at that number.

• Message frequency varies. It depends on what you requested and whether you reply.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP at any time to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:

• HighLevel — our customer relationship management and messaging platform
• Twilio — telephone and SMS delivery
• Zoom — video consultations
• Google — calendar scheduling and email
• Meta (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok — when you contact us through those platforms

If you choose to move forward with coverage, we share the information necessary to submit an application with the insurance carrier or carriers you select. We will tell you who that is before we do it.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, subpoena, or a request from a state insurance regulator, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and consultation records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet recordkeeping requirements that apply to licensed insurance professionals, which in some cases means several years after our last contact. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to retain.

Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it, subject to the retention obligations above
• Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
• Opt out of emails using the unsubscribe link
• Ask us to stop contacting you entirely

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. Residents of other states may have similar rights. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.

Cookies and tracking
